Gerry Connolly, U.S. House of Representatives

Dear Friends,

It is my honor to welcome you to the founding ceremony of the American Korean Businessmen Friendship Forum! The 11th District of Virginia, which I am proud to represent in Congress, is blessed by its diversity. My district is home to one of the largest concentrations of residents of Korean ancestry in the entire nation. Korean Americans comprise the largest single ethnicity among our Asian-American residents. We also have the largest number of Asian-American owned businesses in the National Capital Region and the Commonwealth of Virginia. This cultural diversity enriches our entire community.

As co-chair of the Korea Caucus in the United States House of Representatives, I look forward to continuing and strengthening our partnership as we build on the success of our alliance and work together toward the achievement of our common goals. I will continue to do all that I can to ensure that the U.S.-Korea alliance remains strong and enduring.

Please accept my best wishes for a successful event!
Warmest Regards:
Gerald E. Connolly Member of Congress
