Sunshik Min, President, KABFF

Dear Friends:
As president of the Korean American Businessmen’s Friendship Forum, I am very
honored and delighted to provide congratulatory remarks at this founding of the
American Korean Businessmen’s Friendship Forum. The KABFF was established five
years ago and its members and leaders are excited to find the AKBFF ready to start in 2023.
Korea and the United States share a common belief in the principle of democracy,
as well as in the importance of a market economy. Businesses in both countries maintain
close relationships in many areas. Not only big multinational companies, but medium- and
small-scale businesses find business opportunities in our respective countries.
While trading and direct investment have been the major driver of the traditional
business relationships between our two countries, the scope is expanding to include
service industries and so-called soft industries like entertainment.
I hope and believe that the two organizations will be able to help businessmen in
both countries to find partners and seek market opportunities for their mutual benefits.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Ms. Silvia Patton, Mr. Sangkeun Park,
and Dr. Jang -Hee Yoo for their leadership and contribution to establishing the two
organizations.
Sunshik Min
President of the Korean American Businessmen’s Friendship Forum
